Box Toons
The Start of something awesome. So Nick and I have decided to step up our game and do some real animation. After going through 4 or 5 character designs and a few different story lines we have started the animatic. To check out our progress go to BOXTOONS. We will show clips and more character designs as we slowly progress through the animation process. The characters are based on Nick and myself. We came up with the story while sitting in our tiny cubes at work. (Well Nick's cube is pretty posh. Mine is kind of dinky I wouldn't even call it a cube.) Go check it out!

Watercolor
Last week I picked up some Koi watercolor paints made by Sakura. They were on sale at the local art store. During the week I drew out the snake and skull picture to be painted. Then Saturday night I outlined with a .8 black Sakura marker and then painted it. It took a few hours to paint and a little bit of trial and error learning, but I think it came out great.
