Flyer

So I made a another flyer. These are fun since they give me all the information about the shows and then say make something cool. I was trying to use an image from Akira an awesome anime movie, but found this one of Rock Lee from Naruto and thought it looked cooler. So I drew it out and then inked it scanned it and added the text in PhotoShop. I think my normal hand writing is a little hard to read sometimes and it takes along time to do the script or fancy text thats why I do it in PhotoShop.

Work, work, work, work, and freelance

Super busy these last two weeks. Here are a few projects I have been working on.

The tool box! So I was asked if I could add Zebra stripes to this tool box. I didn't realize it was in two pieces and was a legit tool box. So I started work on this guy. First masked it off with tape then my projector to a *insert word here*. Then I drew out the stripes and then took a razor blade and cut them out. It still needs to be sanded and painted.

I was asked to sketch up a picture of grumpy with a Boston Red Sox hat and golf club.

Antho asked me to make a rough sketch of a koozie Bob mocked up. Anyone who turns down helping design a koozie has issues. Something that keeps beer and soda cans cold, and your hand warm at the same time. Plus it has art on it you know it has to be awesome.

Since it was so cool I did a mock up of it on a koozie.

Then I have my own projects I am working on.

I am doing all of this work plus my 40 hours a week of regular work. So I am having no problem keeping busy. While writing this post up I just got a bunch of freelance Sweet!. When it rains it pours. Can't complain, life is good when life is busy.

Outline

Took one of the characters from my sketch book and outlined him in Illustrator. Then created a new brush and added some weight to the line.
Now I just need to give him feet.
