Moleskine sketch book

Batman Begins was on TV last night. Christian Bale is probably one of my favorite guys to play batman. The voice he uses when he is dressed as Batman is a little much, but I can ignore it. Anyways I was just doing a some sketches while I was watching and here they are.

Moleskine sketch book

Here is a little Sailor Jerry style eagle. I modified it a little bit, but it still has a similar style. I started to use a Col-Erase pencil but changed to a ball point pen when I kept erasing lines I didn't like. There is a few things I still want to add like more tail feathers and maybe clean the body up a little more. Not to bad for a quick sketch though.

Swamp People: Troy Sound Board

It was Cave's birthday last week and his new favorite show is Swamp People on the History channel. The people on this show are awesome catching alligators, snakes, and anything else in the swamp you can eat or sell. I told cave I would make him a "Troy" soundboard and here it is.

If your on a jPhone or jPad this might not work, because it is flash.

MOSHING!

Wikipedia.org: Moshing is a dance in which participants push and/or slam into each other. They also flail their limbs to breakdowns of hardcore punk and its sub-genres, which is more commonly seen with those genres. It is most associated with aggressive music genres, such as hardcore punk and heavy metal. It is primarily done to live music, although it can be done to recorded music.

This is a sketch I have been doing all week. French Exit is playing with The Missing 23rd and Strike Anywhere in Ventura this weekend. It will be an awesome show. Trying to get tickets has been a pain though it took me 4 or 5 tries on this stupid ticket website. I had to call them and my bank a few times it was ridiculous. Oh well, I finally got tickets yesterday I sure hope they are at the will call box. If your in Ventura on Saturday you should go to the show!

I was listening to Good Riddance while drawing this.

Here is a couple of sketches of Roy "Big Country" Nelson. He won "The Ultimate Fighter" season 10. He was also the IFL Heavy weight champ. He has a two losses in a row but they were pretty tough fights against top 5 contenders. I like him because he is funny, fat, and doesn't look like a fighter at all. He is a little cocky but seems to be a nice guy though. He also rubs his belly when he wins how can you not like this guy.

Moleskine sketch book

Good round of golf yesterday. Nothing like walking through the park on a nice cool evening with some frat sodas and sticks.
Here is a few sketches of Skeletor. I was just trying to give him a different build and see how his structure would be constructed from bones to muscle. This is more of his skeletal system mixed with his accessories. I started with a coal erase, but kept erasing so I made myself use a pen. Maybe I will scale it up a bit so I can add organs and build up from there.

Sink into the Pacific Letters

Thursday! Last week’s golf plans got canned cause everyone flaked. I flake a lot so can't really complain. Tonight should be a lock. The weather is nice, and everyone who said they would play appears to be at work according to Office Communicator.

Now I need to find something to listen to.

Sink into the Pacific Letters

I had a super busy three day weekend. It was filled with barbeques, movies, and video games.
